The DIH with consortium partners will develop AI-controlled water treatment process aiming for a closed circulation. The current monitoring and control process has potential for a large amount of measurement (blue) and control (red) points. Data gathered from the sensors is sent to the cloud. The real-time control system for water processes is developed by combining Digital Twin (dynamic model of water processes), online measurements and AI. The Machine Learning methods are used to tune the control system for different enrichment and water treatment processes.


This topic was found in a workshop where the mining industry presented their challenges in water cycling.
Other participants were companies and research institutes from several ecosystems e.g. AI+ and SuperIoT.


Using this kind of innovation process the industry will gather together the partners with the most suitable competencies and capabilities. The result is an industry-proven, AI-enabled solution.
